Getting started step by step

Step by step guide for a Blankstate Atlas account

Updated over a month ago

Step 1: registering your account

Register here https://atlas.blankstate.ai/ and sign up. It can take up to 24 hours to be approved as this process is done manually.

A few key concepts to understand once your account has been activated and you are logged in.
Mind architect:
That's you right now. Once you have registered, you become a mind architect that is in full control of the entre process. No one else has access to your data.

Blueprint:
A Blueprint is the foundation of your Atlas journey. It’s your custom-built operational map that defines:

  • What your organization is aiming for

  • How your team should operate

  • What success looks like—day to day and long term

By building a Blueprint, you give your team clarity, consistency, and a shared understanding of excellence.

Protocol:
Protocols are your rules of engagement. Almost like filters for the data but you decide what those are. They set the standards for how work should be done and the insights you are searching for.
You can define protocols for:

  • Service quality

  • Safety procedures

  • Decision-making frameworks

  • Communication best practices

These protocols ensure your team isn’t just getting work done—they’re doing it well.
Examples of protocols are; Level of empathy detected, conflict resolution ability and so on.

Metric:
These are the indicators that show whether your protocols are being followed and your goals are being met.

  • KRIs (Key Risk Indicators) track areas where things could go wrong.

  • OPIs (Operational Performance Indicators) measure how well the team is executing tasks aligned with your protocols.

Clear metrics allow for objective, consistent evaluation—and help identify what’s working and what needs attention.

It is important to note that protocols have to be linked to a metric.
